There is a sign up that says €10,000 at the border, think you should find UK allowance on customs website.

If you are taking Sterling in or out of the south have a look at http://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/cyprus . In there you will find a link to The Cyprus Ministry of Finance rules on taking money in and out of southern Cyprus. There are rules posted at Larnaca airport to my certain knowledge but that may be a bit late to find out !

If you are taking Sterling out through the South have a look at http://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/cyprus which has a link to the South's rules on cash in and out of the South. There are rules posted at Larnaca Airport but that might be finding out a bit late !
