Does anyone know whats going on behind the Blue Dream Supermarket. There is some really heavy machinery down there.

What answer did you get from Esentepe Belediye? Someone there ought to be able to tell you.

The talk in the village yesterday was, it is the start of the planned upgrading of Esentepe Beach.

A couple of years ago the then mayor said that the beach would be cleaned up and the old tarmac coast road

would be removed from it. Wooden chalets would be built, toilet and shower blocks, plus a snack bar and a restaurant.

You will be able to hire sun loungers and parasols and maybe pedaloes, this area needs something like this.

I personally don't think we need another restaurant but hey ho! When all this work is finished it should

look like the council run beach at Tatlisu, only bigger. This work has been delayed owing to the death of the former

mayor and the election of a new one.

Fingers crossed, lets hope they do a much better job than was done opposite Alkans, not that the Belediye had anything to do with it as far as I know.
