Photo Voltaic. Who would you recommend?

I have a favour to ask!!!

I intend to invest in PV solar panels. I am sure there are many others in a similar position.

If you have had a system installed and would like to share your thoughts and/or recommendations with us, we would really appreciate your comments.

Personally, I am interested to hear from anyone with a micro inverter system.

I'm sure all the solar companies have a lot to say, but I am more interested in first hand customer comments.

Not used them myself but have a couple of friends who have: http://www.cyprussunenergy.com - this is the website for AGD Solar. Contact details are on the website. They are two German guys who have been in this business for quite a number of years and have a good reputation. They operate from TRNC and also, I think, from Turkey.

Thanks Philoz. I have been there and seen that the companies spend most of their time arguing and taking "pot shots" at each other! Which is why I though't to try and get some first hand information!

Hi Gavin, We're also looking to have solar installed - and fully endorse Agobard's recommendation. We were lucky enough to see one of Peter's installations (the German guy) recently and would wholly recommend it - he's in germany though at the moment until I believe the beginning of September - but he is definitely the one we will use as soon as he returns to Cyprus. We've looked at quite a few others, but they don't hold a candle to this company. Hope this helps.

Peter has been installing solar systems here for over 15 years.

We had our 3kv micro inverter system installed in May this year by Eco Free Electric. To date we are more than happy with it. So far we are producing between 14 kW on a bad day and 22kw on a good day. We picked the micro inverter over the standard inverter due to energy efficiencies. It's a little more expensive but believe that over the long term it is a better choice.
