Lot of helicopter activity over Lapta tonight, at least 3 airborne and seem to be circling coast side

Am hearing them, but unable to see them.........thought it might be some night time manoeuvre.....
Could you see them ???

No, no lights, but at least 3 of them. Choccy is going spare every time they come over

I heard on the news that the UK had deployed 4 Chinooks to Cyprus for use in Iraq. Would they let them fly over here to get there?

They were going backwards and forwards over Silver Rocks for quite a while but we couldn't see them.

Its a regular feature in summer sometimes at night sometimes in the day.When I have observed them in the day they appear to be doing some sort of rescue mission although I would say its training rather than the real thing.
At night I presume it's the same thing.
As I say I have heard them most summers for the last twelve years or so.

They have just gone back over the mountain at Karsiyaka again . They have been going back and forward for about an hour, still cant see them but you can certainly hear them, its as if they are using our place as a marker for the turning point

They seemed to come as far as our place and then turn round. Made one hell of a racket, very low, but no lights. Stopped about 20 minutes ago.

Yep, drove our dog crazy for 2 hours again

Just another Military exercise, nothing to get upset about.
NO light that's how we zap them??
They were all over Girne as well.
