I stupidly made a typo error on my online booking with TA and I can't get hold of anyone, only a man in India who was useless and said he can't change it without cancelling and me re-booking and loosing all my money for my first Ticket! I am so annoyed with myself, its one letter wrong, do you think I would get away with it at check in?? I am in the UK.

Not quite correct , you make a duplicate booking , same name , flight details with correct spelling and they'll refund the original booking FROM THE UK call 0844 800 6666

Thanks, they said I would not get a refund as the flight is not a domestic flight! I have emailed HQ in London, but they are closed until Monday, will have to wait and see.

My sister recently made a typo error with her name and there was one letter wrong. It took her ages to speak to the company she had bought it from ( which was via Skyscanner online) but when she did eventually talk to them they simply contacted TA and a note was left with the check in desk. She flew over to Ercan and back with no problem.

Try going direct to TA office, I am sure there must be one in Girne somewhere if not Lefkosa

Owl lady she is in UK! I am fairly sure that the desk at Ercan will be open the number should be on their website.

All sorted now, just as Journey1 has said, and I have it in writing via email! Many thanks for all your replies, very helpful x

Delighted for you! Now you can relax and look forward to enjoying your trip out. When my sister returned to the UK via Ercan she had no problem at all - infact, she said they did not even mention the typo error, but I know she was also glad and reassured that she had something in writing to show if it had been required.
