Does anyone know what time this opens in the morning please?

Open Daily from 10am-4.30/5pm.

Closed on Monday.

Don't forget to take passport/s.

9 till 5 everyday except Monday when it is closed for cleaning, don't forget a passport to be given up at the entrance get it back on leaving.

Why do you have to take passports ?....whats that all about

I have always only had to show my passport at the entrance but never have I had to give it up. Infact I would not do so to visit any place really.

So been about 5 times with various friends all need a passport as it an Army base as well
All passports are inspected and one is retained a tag is given in receipt when you exit tag is exchanged for the passport
Millitary very polite and on one occasion an officer was playing a piano in one of the rooms
Drinks very cheap entrance a few lira worth a visit

This is because it is controlled by the army but you get your passport back as you leave so no problem, as said above they only keep the one passport but it is wise for you all to take them.

Anyone know if you can enter the complex with the Blue House in a hire car from the South?
I was told you couldn't, which is why I've never been (I always fly into the south and pick up a hire car from Fontana at the airport). If they've relaxed this rule then I would like to see it.

Think I read on here a while ago someone had been refused entry with a South hire car.
