I am moving to TRNC later this year and I have heard that there are a few good dentists out there and that prices are far cheaper than here in the UK.
I will probably be looking at a bridge or maybe a couple of implants.
Any advice on price or personal recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Sandra x
ps I did post a while ago on the medical and dental section but got no response so thought I'd try the general section!

Ipec at Smile, which is close to HSBC bank In Kyrenia is brilliant. She speaks good English and is a perfectionist in her work. Other Half actually broke a bridge she had done whilst she still lived in England and the work she had done by Ipec was first class. The cost about a third of the price it would have mean if not less.
No qualms about recommending this dentist .

We can also recommend Seda Serger Ustuner she is also brilliant and has excellent English and a modern surgery. Her number is 03928158899. She is above the chemist on the LHS before you reach the law courts in Girne.

We'd second Ipek Gurpinar - I've had dental treatment with her which was excellent and far cheaper than I'd have been able to have in Australia. Plus you don't wait, amazing concept, eh?

For a bridge or implants, the dental faculty of the Near East University in Nicosia. All the dentists are specialists in each kind of dentistry, the bridge is made on site and fitted until it is perfect, and they are a bit cheaper than the local dentists. If you join the British Residents Society, there is a 20 percent discount on all dentistry.
I have had a bad experience with a bridge with one of the dentists who is much recommended above. This dentist is also not able to do implants.

I won't name names but I also had an expensive and painful time with one of the above recommended.
I had a horrible mouthful of 'goofy' teeth and gum disease. I had a number of teeth removed by the dentist at the local hospital, free, and spoke to him re private work.
He removed 9 teeth, fitted full dentures to 2 capped teeth upper, and fitted ''permanent'' full lower teeth with bridges and crowns. Lots of time and work with fantastic results, I wish I could show you the before and after. He also does implants.
He gave me back my smile. Highly recommend.
