Just to inform anyone who might have flights or holidays booked with Green Island that the company went into liquidation on the 29th August. They are covered by Atol so please check any paperwork.

Also big thanks to wedinnorthcyprus for the initial posting.

Sorry not had chance to get back on here earlier as i have been busy trying to rebook wedding groups.
As i understand it all freebird flights have been cancelled, Pegasus and Turkish airlines should be ok but there is a question over some of the Turkish airlines flights so check with them. All hotels in Cyprus that were booked have now been cancelled. For anyone who paid using their credit cards then there is a link on the ATOL site with all the relevant details on how to claim their money back.
Big shock for everyone as Green Island have been going for years.
