Before you all jump on me and say look on BRS website, I would like the info. from someone who has completed theirs in last few days if possible. Because as we all know it changes like the wind.

Under 60 and Renewal, Exactly what do we need please.

pink/blue card
photocopy of kocan/contract of sale/rental agreement
photocopy of bank statement
photocopy of marriage certificate
muhtar's letter
(don't think I've forgotten anything)

They will ask to see passport at police station and hospital.

Can anyone tell me the process and documents needed for a first time temporary residency (under 60) please and approximately costs? Thanks.

The current residency fee is 250TL plus you need stamps as described in the above link. The only thing that may have changed is where the cashiers is located at the hospital - if it is not where BRS described try upstairs from the cafe, opposite the stair well - go to right hand window first.

If you haven't donated blood three times, as I did, then the process is very straight forward. Go to police station with paperwork, get slip for blood tests, go to hospital, pay 135TL, do blood tests, take receipt back to police with paperwork, collect blood tests 1 week later, go to immigration 2-3 weeks after police station with unopened blood test envelope.

Thank You for your help , yes I realise info is on BRS. website but I just wanted it confirmed from a recent applicant, my blood donations will be 4 for the year just prior to renewal. But are they still accepting this.

So fingers crossed it goes smoothly.

re blood donations - yes, just get the results from the last one which must be done within 30 days of the renewal date. If you check my link in post 2 you will see what I had to do. The link to the BRS website was for Fesenjan.

Can I take my first time temporary residency application to Esentepe Police or does it have to be Girne?

If you live in the Esentepe area then it is Girne police station, if you are East of Kucuk Erenkoy(the cutoff point is just past Jashan's Bacheli Garden restaurant) then it is Gazi Magusa (Famagusta) police station.
