There is a gun club (you can here them shooting when you drive along the dual carriage way) It's somewhere behind and to the side of the GAU and before you get to Zeytinlik. Maybe someone else can be more specific. Have you Googled your question? Its bound to be on there.

You do not give us any clue as to where! There is a range at Beyarmadu and I know a TC family living in the village I could ask. However, is that of any use to them?

Further to above message, advise them to go online to Direct Traveller for more information on NC clay shooting.

There is a clay pigeon club in Kyrernia on the left by the GAU and another in Gonyelli by the lake, you have to go down the old road to Gonyelli about a mile before the Mercedes garage there is a left turn which is marked for the shooting club by the football club.

Don't think you'll find that any gun club has club guns that can be hired. The rules here on gun ownership are very tight.
The Shooting Federation HQ & grounds are at Gonyeli. You could try asking at the Girne club, wish I could give a name but have lost touch with all my old contacts there.

Clay Pigeon Shooting
For those unfamiliar with Clay Pigeon shooting here are the basics; a machine known as a trap releases small circular clay targets into the air and the goal of the shooter is to hit the target and try not to miss any.
Generally a shot gun or similar type of firearm is used, and the more advanced a shooter becomes, the faster and smaller the targets can become. It is a highly competitive and thrilling sport that people all over the world enjoy and or practicing your shot.
Clubhouses are also available that allow friends or family to shop, eat and enjoy their time (that’s if they don’t enjoy the thrill of clay pigeon shooting too) whilst the wide supply of target ranges from Skeet to Trap and everything else entertains you. For a fantastic experience shooting in some of the most beautiful settings in the world, North Cyprus is most certainly the place to go.

Para 2 of the info supplied by Direct Traveller above would appear to indicate guns are available if `North Cyprus has multiple clubs that are perfect for learning how to shoot`-----. However, the accuracy of their statement is unknown. It is unlikely foreign tourists coming to shoot here would be able to bring their guns, even if a learner had one.

Good details TomSteel, I don't know how things are now, but certainly 8-10 years ago friends of my late husband used to bring their personal guns from the UK to compete in the October Grand Prix at Gonyeli and shoot at the Girne ground.
