Re: NTV
Keep losing main internet and when NTV is working it is buffering/freezing. Both companies are blaming the Turkish internet streaming, but come on folks, someone is paying the Turkish internet providers - or are they? Maybe this is the real issue

Re: NTV
Multimax again tonight from approx. 20.35 -21:00 was experiencing a massive drop in our capacity out to Turkey via TTnet.
We do pay TTnet for the link out through which all our customers internet traffic flows and these periodic failures we have been experiencing on this paid for link are absolutely nothing to do with not having paid for said link.
Multimax would love to be able to have alternate links out from the TRNC rather than be dependant on a single provider but the reality is its TTnet or nothing (we could have satellite based links but not a price people would be willing to pay and these also have other issue).
TTnet are aware of these issue and are undoubtedly doing all they can to get them resolved and stop them from re occurring but the harsh truth is that is not always as simple as it may sound to the layman. For example have a look at the links below

Internet users in New Zealand have been suffering (and continue to suffer) outages that if anything are more severe that the issue we and TTnet have been experiencing here. It may well be that the root cause with the problems at TTnet (and thus by extension to MM and other TRNC ISP that have to use TTnet for their links out) are the same as those Spark in NZ are suffering - namely atypically large numbers of customers getting their machines infected by viruses whilst try to see the naked pictures of Jennifer Lawrence that have been referred to all over the news since last week.

Re: NTV
Just to add to the above - whilst the problems MM were experiencing seem to be over by around 9PM , NTV is still continuing to suffer issues as I type this. So from 9pm MM customers should be able to get on filmon ok (assuming they also are not suffering load/ attacks on their servers) but may still be experiencing problems with NTV.
