Police memorial unveiling

Saturday Nov 8th a memorial is being unveiled next to the Old British cemetery in memory of the fallen UK Police officers sent on attachment here in the '50's

A vested interest , I used to work for the Metropolitan Police and I am taking Holiday bookings for some of those attending.

Thanks. I have since discovered the web site and written for evne more background than given there. I think it is fantastic new,s because it also represents a tad more recognition for us here. Thanks again for drawing attention. I believe the RBL were involved as well. Hope I can get to the unveiling on the 8th, and can get a snapshot or two with my little digital!

Now why didn't I think of posting there ?? , Oh yeah because I got a lifetime ban for " Trolling" - posting websites connected to the North !

How sad! Thank heavens that kibKom Forum is global and we knopw it reaches the south too, so they can read all about it on here, - all thanks to ttoli for posting in the first place.
But it really is sad. I don't see it as trolling, (but then what IS the definition of 'trolling'?) but see it as sharing some good news. Ho hum.
