A Break in the Karpaz

We have just returned from a 2 night stay in the Karpaz staying at Villa Lembos in Dipkarpaz 5 mins drive from Agios Afilon (oasis).
What an enchanting time we had, the accomodation was superb!,Individual bungalows tastefully furnished in a lovely rural setting, lovely home-made breakfasts and evening dinners, attentive staff really made our stay special. Very good value as well.
We encountered Wild donkeys, Hoopoe Birds, Bea-eaters, geese, ducks, Turkeys and lots more, cant wait to go back as it is lovely to get away from mass tourism and traffic.
A very special part of the world that everyone should see at least once.

We also have just returned from staying at this wonderful hotel. Can not give it enough praise, everything was spot on and nothing was to much trouble.

Agree. I have not actually stayed there, but did review it for a holiday web page. There are one or two others of the same ilk in the area,
A wonderful, back-in-time place to go to relax and see what is often known as 'the real Cyprus'
Now you have whetted my appetite to go. Thanks for the reminder.

Are any of the hotels you have visited pet friendly? We have two pointers that we will not leave home without!

Hassan at Balci Plaza said we could take our dogs a couple of years ago.

We were originally going to take our dog but decided to kennel her at Kaplica instead, We paid 50 Euro per night for the bungalow including a lovely breakfast.

I have "Surfed" around but failed to find any "Pet Friendly" hotels so I think SKYBLUESAM has had the right idea and will try the same. Seems that the best bet would be to drop off our two mutts at
http://cyprusscene.com/2014/05/07/41622/ then carry on to the place of our choice. Picking up the mutts on the way back would be easy as well. At the price for boarding it has to be the way forward. Many thanks for all comments.

Although we did consider taking our dog, we did not think other guests would appreciate it, Also it allowed us some "Me" time! So we decided against it.
