Hi Maggie.
It's not Mr Pound. It's the pound shop. But every thing is 5 TL

Its all excellent value anyway, you have a choice to buy or not to buy. I got back from the UK this morning. Two days ago I went to the Redhill branch of the £ shop to get my 2015 diaries. Many item for sale at over £, why complain, the price is shown.

The rumour I heard that " 1001 is to open in Esentepe village". if it is like the one in Girne, I will give it a miss.
However, if it is like the one next to the Ercan airport I will then make it a must to visit. that one is worthwhile visiting. read my next thread about 1001 Ercan.

confirmation,
The shop in Esentepe village is Mr Pound.... to be correct the 5tl shop which is not "£1", hence the name does not match.....
opened recently, and so far not doing bad,... few locals are buying....
I haven't been to the place, but was told "its okishhhhhh"
Bringing the trade to the area, hopefully boost the local economy....best of luck to Mr pounds

I understand the shop opened not long ago "just over a week". Its a branch of Mr pound kyrenia, lefkosa, and others...
location: the shop set among the shops (on the right hand side) opposite the Esentpe Yapi market in the village
happy shopping
