Yes it is good to see Kibkom back and just struck lucky now that I have managed to log back in. Many people not being able to. Will spread the word.

I could be wrong but personally I think the "culprit" is nearer to home than the Bubbles!!! Can Soner give any explanation at the moment?

Explanation: Site being hacked. Fixed yesterday then hacked again this morning.

But....we are back up again.

Well it's my birthday today and it was a nice present to be able to log into Kibcom again today for the first time in days. I hadn't realised how useful it was to keep me in the loop with what's going on etc.

Thankyou Soner for sorting out the problem. This forum is so helpful & informative & entertaining. Really missed it whilst it was down.
Can't begin to imagine why anyone would want to damage it & deprive people of chatting, exchanging views & information.
There must be some very sad inadequate people out there.

Just a thought, the only thing that seemed to be down was this site, Kibkom times was working all the time as were lots of other services on the same App. If you get "Hit" again and may be down for some time could you leave a message on one of the other items such as the Kibkom times pages??

So glad you're back. I'm moving over soon and need you guys for my regular updates and fix!! I had very serious withdrawal symptoms lol !!!

Geroff, I presume he is referring to the infantile bubbles! Someone must be getting a kick out of it.For God's sake why don't they get a life!!

We have once again overcome the attacks on The Kibkom Forum, apologies for the long wait and thank you for your patience.
I have now incorporated serious protection all round, so for what I have paid I expect that the forum will not go down again, well... not so easily.

Would like to see more people that sell houses, cars and other items, donate something small to help with the upkeep of the site.

This year I donated several thousands to charities in TRNC from adverts sold, and have actually been making a loss over the last 3 years. Not sure how long I can keep this up.

So, if members are selling, then please do consider making a donation towards the upkeep of site, no matter how small. Currently amount of donations received to date is similar to a drop in the ocean.... but very much appreciate those that have had the kind thought to donate.

This forum has been set up for all to help each other with queries, problems, selling, buying, recommending etc. It's good to know good has come from the forum and hope that members respect and do not take it for granted. Would just like to see more support in that Businesses advertise, members buying stickies to get their messages across the board rather than sneaking posts in the incorrect category - it really does not cost much for a global sticky, and finally seeing more sellers donate when their items are sold.

A big thanks to the moderators that help keep the forum going, they do not get paid so please appreciate the hard work that they put in to keep the kibkom forum running as smooth as possible.

As mentioned earlier, this forum is fully protected now and will continue to grow, it will not fall for those that want to see it destroyed.

Sorry to say that I have had problems accessing again, it keeps coming up error 522 and that it's kibkom as the host not working and connection timed out. This is the message that has been on and off since last Saturday as well as page not displayed.

Dalaryokat, some work is still being carried out, so hopefully you will find that the errors will soon be a thing of the past.

Can I suggest that your message 24 has its own post Soner to make sure every one sees it

Soner appreciate the monies you donate to the various charities, what exactly are "stickies? I think I am guilty of sneaking in via other categories, plugging NCCCT event when I get the chance!!!

Owl lady - correct. I lived among them many years ago, and know them well.

Unlike Sandra, I won't be moving over (unless I win the Eurolottery!), only two weeks' holiday each year, but nevertheless I'm on here every day "for my fix" - very frustrating and annoying when some idiot is blocking......

Like all the other threads I'm so pleased Kibkom is back, thank you Soner for all your hard work; I've been here 2 years now and it has been so helpful in finding out information from other kibkomers, you're not fumbling around trying to find things out, there's always a kibkomer to help you and I've met some very nice people through the site - keep up the good work!

I already suggested this to Soner in emails sent during the down-time but of course I couldn't post it here.

I'm also pleased, I know how much effort is required to get your website back to normal!!

Living in deepest Dipkarpaz, I very much appreciate this forum. Made some nice friends, bought lots of furniture etc. for the house, toys for the grandchildren etc etc

A music group from Lapta area came to spend a weekend in Dipkarpaz. Our friend Murat from Glaro Garden phoned us and told us to come, promising a fun evening. And it really was lots of fun, lots of dancing and singing, the band playing everybody's favourite 'oldies'.
They also played some recorded 'Black Sea' music and Murat and his sister and cousins showed what very lively dancing they could do. What a great evening!! It was quite interesting to know how many people knew of me. Lot's of 'Hello Dippersgirl!!'. But then I am the only permanent English(German) woman in Dipkarpaz.

No it's there!

It's showing the "x" in the box on my computer, no actual photo, very strange. I have had problems logging into threads, can access the site but when I click on the threads it comes up error 520. Bizarre.

Happening on almost every operation, but if I back click on the error 520 screen goes back to the posting page!! weird!

Owl Lady, was beginning to think it was only me again, but will do as you say.

still having trouble posting. If this message makes it it will be a miracle.

The internet in general is plying up I thinks its the storms every where.

Seems like there is a caching problem, site not being hacked. If 520 error comes up just refresh page.
Working on a fix.
