Hi all
I will be moving over shortly(once my house sale has completed) and am looking at popping over for a week once we have exchanged contracts, probably mid November time.
The purpose of the visit is twofold. Firstly, my son has to sit an entrance exam at ESK and, secondly, to have a look at a few rental properties.
I am looking for a reasonably priced hotel to book in to. Can anyone recommend anywhere? Preferably in kyrenia or very local to kyrenia.
Also, if any of you have any property for long term let, please let me know. Only really need a 2 bed apartment for rental purposes but would gladly look at other options.
Hope to hear from you.
Sandra x

Pia Bella and Sammy's hotel in Girne seem ideal for you needs, short term. Both in Girne area and half way between Girne and Catalkoy..

Hi, I would say either Oscar hitel in Kyrenia or Acapulco in Catalkoy. Both hotels are really nice and the Acapulco dose a full board plus option. I would book direct with the hotel for good rates.

I would recommend Sammys Hotel, or if you don't mind being a bit further out the Ship Inn.

Some friends have just stayed at Pia Bella and got an excellent deal. They were told by travel agents that it was fully booked but then called the hotel direct and got a room, 2 people, half board £70 per night. Hotel also picked them up from Ercan. Also had another friend who stayed at Sammy's, also got a good deal b & b for 7 nights, including flight and transfers from Larnaca, £550 or so. Usually best to book direct with the hotel, unless you can get a special deal to include flight and transfers through an agent. Both hotels very close to town, only thing I would say is that Pia Bella can be a bit noisy in the early hours, as my friends found out. If you are staying in room on the front, next to the casino, the doormen have a habit of speaking very loudly in the early hours. A word with the staff on reception stopped it though. It is a very nice hotel.
