Pink Month is drawing to a close however we do have 3 fabulous events to help finish off a great month for Tulips.

29th October - Pink Fun Bowling

From 10am to 10pm the Food Lodge (of Catalkoy) are organising a Pink Fun Bowling Day at Kings Leisure Centre (on bypass)

The entry price is only 20TL and this includes a soft drink and a snack.

31st October - Doğanköy Community Association Pink Coffee Morning

As part of Pink Month October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Doğanköy Community Association are holding a coffee morning at Doğanköy Church in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips).

Starting at 11am and all are welcome.

31st October - Whirling Dervis Performance at Bellapais Abbey

To finish off our Pink Month there will be a Whirling Dervis Performance at Bellapais Abbey starting at 8.30pm.

Entry is 15TL per person and you will have a chance to win a bottle of Pink Bubbly or a wrought iron Whirling Dervis donated by Pat Burns or Iron Man Works.

Tickets are available from both the Best Seller Bookstores (Alsancak and Karakum)

Pink Ten Pin Bowling tomorrow!

Sorry Sue slightly off topic but is there a closing date for the green cancer collection boxes containing change? What should we do with them?

Hi Mrs Mac,

There isn't really a closing date but we were asking people to save as much 'shrapnel' as possible throughout the month then hand the box to one of us so that it would give everyone a goal to aim for otherwise these boxes often have a habit of lying on the side, collecting dust and get forgotten about.

If you wish to continue to collect then please feel free to do, we would hate to stop you
