Ventilation in a locked up property whilst away

I just thought I'd share a possible problem solving excercise for people who spend months away from their properties, not actually living in the TRNC full time.
There is a possibility of coming back to damp, or stale musty smelling properties etc.
I think there have been previous discussions along those lines.
I have bought a 12v solar panel used for trickle charging/topping up a car battery, along with a 120mm computer cooling fan (brushless type).
The 12v solar charger cost £11.99 and the fan cost £1.65 from ebay (I think I've subsequently seen the solar charger for £8.99).
I hooked these up together and everytime the sun shines, the fans fires up and spins silently to itself.
So the plan is to put a couple of these fans on ventilation points in the house to circulate air whilst I'm away.
The solar chargers are weather resistant but I would think keeping them away from direct rain is wise.
They could also be used for "cooling" larger solar panels (they reduce in efficiency at higher temps).
Just thought I'd let everyone know.
