Visiting Mavi Kosk -- Blue Villa

My 'swallow friends' had friends staying, so took them last week to Mavi Kosk,(Blue Villa) a place they had visited before. Everything was fine with passports etc., but when they went in to the house, the entry fee was still 3 TL, which all four produced, only to be told that they had to pay by Credit Card!!! Only one of them was carrying a card, so the grand total of 12 TL was paid by him. Has anyone else experienced this seemingly strange situation, and does a lone visitor have to use a credit card for 3 TL? The mind boggles! What next, I wonder?

Easy to track how many visitors and how much taken in fees if cash is not used.

What a ridiculous idea, have they never heard of pen and paper? or perhaps they haven't learn to count or write yet! How to lose visitors!!

Our Turkish friend paid for all of us in cash. No problems and certainly no credit cards needed.
