SECTION 75 Credit Card Refunds If ripped off UK & ABROAD

Hi guys

I have just found this interesting bit of legistlation and this site comes with a template letter too, so that if you feel a service has not been delivered, you haven't got goods ordered etc, you can claim against your credit card provider.

And if you scroll down the page you will find the template letter to send to your credit card provider and this applies to shoddy services, shoddy goods etc throughout the world.

I have just researched this as I am having a big problem with a certain large provider of internet access in TRNC who took £380-03 off my NatWest Mastercard on 4th May 2012. Indeed, I may not be the only person having problems with speed and watching tv programmes and access to iplayer and stuff. Oh and of course disappearing TV stations....

And according to the "Chairman" of this particular company, and I quote....
"How many people IN the UK you think is watching BBC iPlayer? I think close to 0(zero)"and
"BBC iPlayer is used mostly by people living outside of the UK". (I wonder what BBC licence payer would have to say LOL!) AND
"if I give you 10Mbit you will still get 1.5Mbit from BBC iplayer because that is what BBC iPlayer is able to provide. You can email BBC and complain to about their issues." AND
PAGES AND PAGES OF MORE ABSOLUTE TOSH I AM BECOMING EXHAUSTED FROM READING IT ALL!!! In fact it really is a sorry state of affairs. Anyway, more on all that later if the problem is not resolved, but from the abuse I am receiving now I do not hold out much hope, so may have to post up on a dongle later, if my connection should finally come crashing down.

But if you have a major problem with anything paid for on credit card then I just thought this was a very informative link, and for all the ruddy charges the banks put upon us, about time we turned on them too in an hour of need!


P.S. It is in my nature to give people too many chances to sort themselves out, but this really is a final warning as I am the customer, and having run successful businesses myself I know the difference between good and bad, and customer satisfaction is the key!

I PAID CASH FOR THE PREGNANT HAMSTER BOUGHT FROM PETSHOP UNFORTUNATELY, OTHERWISE COULD PROBABLY CLAIM AGAINST THEM TOO AS HAMSTER WAS BOUGHT AS A PET & NOT THIS NIGHTMARE OF LOADS OF BABIES THAT I FEEL A RESPONSIBILITY NOW TO LOOK AFTER! message sue@planetmail.com off board if interested.
