Hi,

We're coming over just before Xmas for a months holiday.

We used to really like Gold Fassel lager but haven't seen any for over a year. We liked it better than Efes.

It used to be brewed on the island-has the brewery closed down or something?

There is a bar that does Gold Fasel draught, Happy Valley ( Rias )
on the main road near the Malpas.
Yes the factory did close down, & now it has re-opened & the beer is far better now. the bottles have finished though sadly.

Maybe in time the new owners will resume producing bottles of the stuff!!
