Microsoft Surface (internet query)

Can anyone tell me why I cant pick up my internet from Multimax to my Surface via wi fi. It can pick up the Malpas hotel and others around me, but not my own. I have also tried to copy all the details from my pc to the pad but no luck. Not very technical, so can anyone give some advice on what to do, or if I should take it to someone to try and sort it for me. Thanks

Presumably you do have a wifi router?

If so, maybe call MM? they have very competent technical people

Lor51, I had that problem once with my Kindle Fire. It recognised my router address and that of everyone else I tried, but just wouldn't switch on to Wi-Fi despite it saying it was "on" . Eventually it had to be sent back because of a faulty component. Hope yours is easier problem to cure.
