Hi, We are coming to Cyprus for the first time and have booked our car through a company called Baspinar who our friends recommended to us. We have received an email informing us that the car model we booked is now not available due to insurance technicalities on the Ford models however our friends whose apartment we will stay at have told us that Baspinar no longer have these cars.
The company have stated they will provide a different model but as the hire car is due to be delivered to us at the airport when we arrive we are slightly worried.

Can anyone confirm?

I had to use Baspinar in the past when my car was in an accident, found then reliable, It may be that the car they had for you has been involved in an accident , hence the insurance technicalities
try giving them a ring

I wouldn't worry Baspinar are a reputable company with a modern fleet of cars. Friends and family always use them whenever they come. If they have said a car will be at the airport then I am certain it will be.

when i've used them they have an UK number you can phone on there website ,always provided a decent service
