Why is it some Brits in this forum believe they are reporters for the "Sun" newspaper and put misleading one or two word post-subject titles that are designed to make people click on them? This is not a tabloid where Headings are to attract buyers! You are simply wasting peoples' time who might have no interest on the subject but are fooled into thinking the content is something else...
I personally find it very annoying and have stopped reading any post that has no clear title because half the time I waste my time opening up a tab that is of no interest to me. I do not wish to offend anyone by giving examples, but a closer look by anyone at some post titles and content will prove my point.

Agree entirely. I DO THE SAME. So it can be the loss of the original poster and not ours. But people make a choice (and so do we). It would be better if people DID put exactly what it is the post isabout - offering, needing, commenting etc, and worded in such a way that one could decide whether to read. But maybe these people ARE using Sun tactics, as I BELIEVE IT SELLS PAPERS . Curiosity factor. But it doesn't sell it to me, and obviously not to you either!
So come on folks - how about making the subject matter plain, as is this one.

FI entirely agree with Oz, and the amount of time wasted probably puts people off the Forum. I suggested on another thread that people who post on the most argued about subjects should start the subject ".................. for sale" or "ReF Animals"! and perhaps "Lost Pet in ................." as people who dont normally want to read about animals may well be prepared to look out for a lost dog or cat in their area"
By the way alcohol doesnt mix with my medication so teasers for wine etc. are particularly annoying.

Ok whilst we're moaning, I hate the teaser titles and when you click on them it is just a link to an article with no comment from the OP. Very frustrating grrrr

Agree with tha tone too. I always think it might be a virus. Plus of curse no one is telling me why I might be interested to read it. Actually I don't b other, and ignore those as much as I ignore e mails which come in similar vein.

Not moaning, Marion, surely but constructive criticism to make the Forum even better
But, yes, I too worry about the safety about clicking on unexplained links
