Are there any kitchen suppliers other than Ikea I can buy ready made units from in the South ?
I prefer to buy a kitchen from the North but want to buy and fit the units myself.

Possibly Leroy Merlin - just down the road from Ikea. They certainly seem to have just about everything.

Why not get a local carpenter in the north to make them for you then fit them yourself. You wont have to transport them and risk getting stopped by customs.

If you want to have them made here, try the workshop behind the Bell's Foods store in Karaolanoglu.

There are shed loads of kitchen unit suppliers/fitters in the industrial area next to the Ataturk Stadium in Lefkosia... I can't recommend a particular one but they have some great looking kitchen units.

It seems to be the go-to place for kitchens in the north.

Ronnies would be reliable, trustworthy workmanship. He's done work for us and has been honest, pleasant and kind.

Take the main road over the mountains to Lefkosa and at the roundabout at the far end as you approach Lefkosa (with the rocks on sticks that look like giant jacket potatoes) take the left turning towards Ercan (Dr Fazil Kucuk Bulvari.) and you will pass the Ataturk Stadium on the left hand side.... Just past the stadium is an entrance to Sanayi Cad. This is the main entrance to a large industrial site containing businesses that deal in almost all things.... From memory I think the kitchen showrooms are spread about towards the far RHS of the site so it will take a bit or searching about to find them all....

In Turkish the word 'Mutfak' = kitchen, so I guess that might be a clue apart from their showrooms sporting kitchen units... Good luck.
