Residency for Under 60's

Not sure if other members are aware but I renewed my residency today at Lefkosa immigration after the usual trip to the police station, blood tests etc (I am under 60 years of age) and to my surprise they offered me 2 years. They told me that as I was married to someone who is over 60 I could also have 2 years. I grabbed the chance as not only does it save the hassle each year it saves 135 TL for the blood tests.
