Changing Pegasus flight dates

I have a return flight booked in January Stansted to Ercan but unfortunately due to an accident will probably not be able to travel on the booked dates. Rather than risk losing my money if I can't travel, I'm thinking of trying to change the flight until the end of February when hopefully I should be ok.

Does anyone know if the flights can be changed online, or what exactly I need to do to change them?

Hi,

It depends what kind of ticket you have bought, some tickets are non transferable and non refundable.

I have tried to change tickets before and have been told I would lose all my money and would be charged again for new flights.

The only way to find out is to contact Pegasus direct or if you booked through an agent, contact them.

As no one else with specific information has answered this so far, could I suggest that you ring the travel agent that you booked the flight through, and ask them - or, if you booked it yourself online, have a browse through the Pegasus website, and if you can't find the answer there, contact them and ask the question direct - UK and all other 'phone numbers are on their contact page.

If what you want to do is not possible, then your travel insurance may well have a clause that covers cancellation due to ill health - have a good read of the Policy!

Thanks for the advice, had a look at PGS website and managed to change them online quite easily as I'd originally booked online. Cost an extra £43.00 total to change outbound and inbound flight dates so not too bad really.

Glad you got sorted.
Pegasus do seem to have a good policy on changes see http://www.flypgs.com/en/information/general-rules.aspx even on promotion flights paying a small admin charge/penalty plus any change in the difference of fare.
I could not find a way however of changing just one flight if two flights booked together online. I needed to cancel just one to get the taxes back but the web gave the impression all flights would be cancelled so rang up and they refunded the taxes from my call.

If you were to contact the agent that you'd booked with , they'd split the booking and allow you to make amendments to each ticket.
Providing that there is availability on your chosen flight , all pegasus bookings can be changed upto 3 Hours before departure of your original outbound flight.

There lies the problem as we book direct on the internet, it was no problem though and I am sure there would have sorted out on the phone anyway. Really I think the costs the costs are quite reasonable for changing what can be a cheap ticket.
