Dodgy international calls ,caution ?

I today have had 5 international calls from Congo , Cook island, Belgium , Germany & a +1 which I can't find a trace to . Has anyone else been getting these ? I've not returned the call & have checked if any activity on my bank . I'm sure it's a scam or something going on which won't benifit me I'm sure . Seems very odd !!!
