I've signed this on many outlets. I don't know what has possessed them. If the Indian banks have so much money to spare then let them try and explain to their millions of poverty stricken people, why they are not being helped, rather than helping to destroy the planet.

Where there's muck there's brass....

They can see a profit in it - helping the poor - no return that shows up on their balance sheet.. it's a sad fact of economic reality.
