I agree - of course it is madness for our country to borrow money (and pay interest on the loan) so that we can give this money to foreign countries, which in many cases are corrupt and do not pass on the money we give to those for whom it is intended.

Bottom line lets look after our own before we donate to the never never lands. ok we all know aid is just a backhander to get a foot in the door for intel& national security purposes, but to borrow to do it when national debit is out of control beggars belief, back Nigel and UKIP all the way , common sense policies, honest straight talking and no bull, he's got to be a winner.

If silly Cleggy gets his way he will make it law that we pay huge amounts every year......that will be a big vote winner for the Libdums I think not.

I try not to get into arguments about politics, but I do take an interest.

Having lived in the TRNC for 12 years, I have no intention of ever returning to the never never land that is the UK.

My question is, am I still entitled to a vote, even if it is just to help the poor unfortunates who have no choice but to live in the UK?

You are allowed to vote if you have a UK address and are on the electoral list.

What I have always been told is that you "Don't mend things that are not broken." putting this theory in general terms, this government is well and truly broken and useless so it cannot be "repaired" so there is no alternative other than to dump it. And elect someone who thinks first and foremost about his country and the people born there and I hope that this man is good on his promises and gets elected.
