Next Saturday, 20th December, Santa is coming to the market. Mrs Claus has been very busy making a smart new outfit and all the elves have been gathering presents.
I believe the cost is 5TL per child to include a present - all profits going to a local charity. I will post more details regarding times later. We are also expecting a guest appearance from Santa's Dad - he's 578 years young!

We will be selling the 2015 Kuskor calendars at 10TL each. We also have new stocks of marmalade with Cointreau, with Scotch Whisky, with ginger plus chilli jam (normal and hot varieties), plum jam, pumpkin chutney, apple and tomato chutney, Esentepe mountain and citrus honey, etc. A big variety of original CDs on sale for only 5TL, adult and childrens' books from 1TL and a range of bric a brac including ski boots size 5/6.

Santa will be making an appearance between 9am and 2pm on Saturday 20th December. The cost will be 5TL per child to include a small gift. All the stallholders have donated gifts so all the money collected will go to the local Children in Need foundation.

Don't forget Santa is visiting the market tomorrow, Saturday 20th December between 9am and 2pm.

Santa's coming today

Santa's Dad will be making an appearance too - from 10am onwards - he's not so good at getting up these days. He says he's bringing the sun with him.

There will be home-made mincemeat, christmas cakes, pastries and preserves to purchase. There will be lots of stalls for buying last minute presents - Pam's paintings, Sarah's plaques and tiles, Carol's cards, Mehmet's tiles, makeup & jewelry, plants, etc.

Thanks to everyone who came along today, all monies raised will be passed on to the Children in Need Charity together with leftover pressies.

Next week, many of the stalls are taking a break but will return on 3rd January raring to go.
