I know this is "cheeky" but I am going to ask anyway!, Is anyone going to Ikea in the near future that could bring me back a Stove Top whistling Kettle?

IKEA stock two differing qualities of hob kettle so do you know which one it is and the price?

Halos had some really good ones (thicker bases than the cheaper Stormax ones). Very modern designs and one had a little bell that rang rather than a raucus whistle!!

Not wanting to be rude to anybody, but where gas kettles are concerned it really does pay to buy the best you can.

One we bought from Stormax is great! Quite frankly, could have spent more for probably one of a similar or lesser quality.Even works atop the wood burning stove. Brilliant.

Wow - the exchange rate must be really bad in the Karpaz - in Girne, today, it costs 3TL to buy 1 Euro so 19.90 Euro = 59.70TL.
Looks lovely in red too, pity we already have a stove kettle.
