Have you tried turning everything OFF - actually unplugging the mains supply - counting to 20 (or go and make a cup of tea, to calm your nerves ), and then starting again from scratch?
If not, - do it!

Had problem all day but tonight had a message from NTV who said they are doing repair work and there would be no tv from midnight, just tried mine and goes on, but will be doing this update to get rid of all these problems. It is also on the NTV homepage. Hopes this helps.

I do not know where you are getting your TV service from but it is important to remember that internet based systems everywhere have their drawbacks. It you are getting UK based TV from an internet connection it is subject to lots of unknowns such as internet services off the island and demand from other parts of the world. You have to look at the bigger picture to do otherwise is a bit like blaming your kettle lead for your kettle not working when there is a power cut.

Doesn't worry me one little bit having no TV during the day and like others I received notification that they were going to be turned off for a period of time (think it was from midnight) What does confuse me that people seem to be watching the same page, but are getting a different messages. How come?

Its perfectly normal for ntv box to say 'wifi connection:off' because box does not use wifi(wireless) to connect to the internet, it uses cable.
Other than that, if your system still does not work, you need to upgrade your device firmware and/or contact NTV support as far as I know.

Has this problem been resolved?
My TV is displaying the NTV blue coloured menu of channels but they seem to be for a Scandinavian subscriber. I've turned everything on and off a few times to no avail.

I can't get Tv on the mag box but can on my laptop. No 'live support' at the minute so can't contact them. Mollie did you email them?

If NTV are reading these posts, one would think they would enlighten us here. v.poor customer relations.

See my post on other thread regarding this, although it said at the top of the page that live support was off, I went into it and got an answer, they were able to help me restore programmes in mag250 box.

Don't panic all is under control ! e-mail from NTV support =
Thank you for contacting us. The NTV free channels, available for Multimax subscribers are not available at the moment, due to an upgrade, which we are finalizing. We will get them working by the end of this week. We are sorry for the inconvenience and we thank you for your understanding.
Should you need anything else, do not hesitate to contact us.
Best Regards,

So sorry, been out since I posted but looks like Jonnie passed on the relevant info, not sure I would have remembered it as well as him, so thanks Jonnie.
