We received a phone call in the week to ask us to attend the Freemasons's event at the Colony Hotel on Saturday night. The reason being was that The Bellapais Lodge of the Freemasons had decided to make a donation to Tulips/Help Those With Cancer Association and they wanted to present us with the money on the night.

The Worshipful Master Peter Austin made the presentation of 5,000TL and in return we presented the Freemasons with a handcrafted plaque on behalf of the Association.

It was an amazing gesture and one that the Association appreciates enormously. These kind of donations are invaluable to keeping the Association running on a month by month basis. We can only thank everyone there for their wonderful generosity.

Good news for Tulips. Can one of the girls confirmed the approximate amount of you monthly outgoings. I say it is in excess of 10,000tl??

The Association needs in excess of 108,000 TL every month.....

A staggering amount of money. This pays for Staff at the Oncology Unit and some at Lefkosa state hospital. An Oncologist from Turkey, teams of home helpers and carers, physiologist, psychologist, transport for treatment in the South or Turkey. Hospice and Hope Centre to help Children who have had Cancer, help with treatment and prescriptions, etc, etc

Which is why every Kuruş we raise helps us to help someone over here with Cancer.....
