I have a cat that was born here she is 15 years old
most people are surprised at how old she is her names Elsie
and I brought her back from the Karpaz all that time ago
Has anyone got an older cat

Mine was 14yrs old when we had to put her to sleep and she was not a house cat! She just stayed around the place and had her meals but never strayed from us.

My friends cat is nearly 17 a stray she brought over from Turkey mine is 11.

Our oldest is nearly 14, a spayed outdoor only cat. We lost a 15+ year old last year to a dog attack. As long as they are spayed/neutered, and you're not in a high traffic area, there's no reason for them not to live to be 15 or older even. We have a "litter" of 3 year olds (their mum was dumped on us ready to burst), the rest are all 10+.

Our oldest is 17 born July 1997 we lost his sister at age 15 after she suffered a stroke. I have a friend in Scotland who has 3 cats the oldest being 29 the next one down is 27 and the youngest 21the frailest cat is the 21 year old.

Definately.
On 19th May 2014 a cat named Poppy was recognised by the Guiness book of records as the world's oldest cat. She was 24.
She died on 11th June 2014.
