Please would forum members around the Karsiyaka area, keep their eyes open for my lost cat...He is ginger and white, around 4-5 months old and answers to the name of Frankie. He went missing this morning from behind Benjamins this morning, I've been looking after him and his sister for 3 months in Alsancak, decided to bring them home and give them a loving family. Molly is still here, but missing Frankie...Please if you see him, he is so vulnerable, call 05338469735..Thankyou

A cat goes missing for a few hours and a Xmas is ruined! I often wonder what has happened to society. What would happen if you had something to really worry about, you know there is lots of suffering going on in the world and you are worrying about a cat going out for a few hours. I really do give up.

Come on guys and gals. Christmas is supposed to be a time of loving, nor 'Scrooging'. Whatever one may love matters. And if one fears something dreadful may have happened, it is a cause for pain. Doesn't matter if it is a cat, or a guinea pig, or a pet snake, a family member and a friend. What is personal to us matters.
Yes there is much suffering in the world and Christmas time has the highest suicide rate of the year so there are lots of unhappy people out there. Personally I think it is great that someone cares enough about any of God's creatures for it to deeply affect them.
And before anyone says 'It is all right for you, because.............' let me assure you there is deep deep pain in my life over Christmas, but I can still rejoice when love is in the air.
Peace joy, love, hope is what Christmas is all about, and I just hope that continues through 2015 for all of us.
(And before some of you feel I should shut up, I cannot shake off 25 years of being a preacher!)
May none of your Christmases be ruined!!!

Merry Xmas 2labs.
So glad Frankie is back home.
We lost our frankie when he was just ten month old.
Unfortunately he never came back, one of the most desperate times of our life.
We vowed no more cats, too much pain.
That lasted a few weeks.
In the hunt for Frankie we found Mille and Marley.
No more I said to my wife, then we found Dotty.
Skin and bones, ill and near to death.
Three wonderful animals with Dotty the most loving animal you could wish for.
We still look out for Frankie, fingers crossed.

Each to their own. We have justed walked around our village and fed at least 10 stray cats, we enjoy giving them a treat.

Wonderful Thornaby. But where is your Partridge in a pear tree. It all sounds like a countdown of the 12 Days of Christmas Cats! Wonderful.
I am sure that the cats love you (and mollie) to bits.

How nasty some of you can be. Why should this post bother anyone? There is a lot of suffering in the world, but if you are not prepared to go out there and change it, then just look after your own loved ones be they people or loved animals, and don't criticise people doing just that.
It is human beings that cause the suffering, think on
So lottidotty and Geoff, are you in a soup kitchen today? Are you out there doing things to change the world? Greatest respect if you are

I think some people do not realise how attached you can become to cats and dogs of course and other pets. We lost 2 very very special cats this year one in dreadful circumstances, I am a big guy, but my god did I shed some tears and the last few days I have thought about them so much. Maybe it comes in the bracket of thinking about loved ones at Christmas.
Very often pets will show you more love affection than people. I will admit that very often I have thought why didn't I stick to cats instead of having children. Not literally, but at times when kids are giving you grief, or being horrible, the thought runs through my mind.

Lottidotti why bother writing on the thread with a reply that provokes people, if you think it is not worthy then press the back button and leave. Some people get very close to their pets and get upset when they think they are missing........

Thanks for a nice post JohnnyLee there is really no need to bitch on here about peoples worries. If you do not want to help then no need to answer the post.
I certainly agree with you, an animal will give you unconditional love and they don't want a fekkin PlayStation for Christmas

As this matter has now been dealt with am locking this, as there is no further need for discussion. Some negative opinions have bene put forward which has upset osme people, but for now, we at KibKom are delighted that the matter was resolved and no Christmas was ruined.
