So sorry for bringing this up again, but can any one please inform me how long before your residency expires can you renew ie 1month 2 weeks.

No more than 2 weeks before it expires.

We applied three weeks before ours expired, it's now ready for collection.

Sorry, that should have been applied three weeks ago but five weeks before last years expired.

Recently we visited our daughter in Australia and applied for renewal of residency before we went, I explained that to the policeman, who said too early, however he processed it and we picked it up in Nicosia two months later!!!

Every time i tried to do it more than two weeks early they told me to go away and come back later.

Now i am confused is it 2-3 or 5 weeks before.

Mine is due to expire on 16th July. Did renewal on 21st June (i.e. 25 days before expiry) and picked it up from Lefkosa today (6 days before expiry). The renewal date is 16th July 2013.
