Are you going to UK about the 27th Jan?

I am trying to help a friend of mine who desperately needs someone who is travelling to UK (not Scotland) 5 days either side of the 27th January 2015.
My friend has arranged for her cats to be shipped to UK on the 27th Jan and has just found out that she needs to have someone travelling 5 days either side of this date.
This is to get around a 'daft' rule that has been put in place The person travelling will not be required to do anything other than provide a photocopy of a travel ticket.
I do not know all the ins and outs of this so if anyone can help or think they can help then please send me a pm or email via this message with your phone number on and I will ask her to call you and clarify in full what has to be done.
Sadly my flights are booked to the 20th Jan and cannot help her
