I wonder if anyone can give me an idea of the cost of 3 seater wrought iron sofas, dining tables and chairs suitable for inside and out with cushion pads to buy please?
I have looked at various sites but none give any indication of how much they cost.
many thanks

The cost is comfort - never in all the time we've lived here have we felt comfortable on any of the wrought iron furniture. Plus it ruins floors and the seat pads get discoloured....

sorry you have had that experience.
I've found the opposite - really comfortable seating and have never seen any damage done to floors inside or outside patio areas.
maybe it's you get what quality you buy, cushion pads or how you use it? Certainly lots of people and business areas use it so it must be good sometimes?

journey1.
Rubbish.
Groucho has it the nail on the head, in the 20 + years I have lived here, be it in a house or restaurant there is NO COMFORT in this type of furniture no matter what type of cushions you put on them.
Plus they rust and leave you with a lot of work.

It's obviously a personal thing. I have got 6 metres of wrought iron sofa on my roof terrace, has been there 6 years, repainted once and not a spot of rust oh and it is very comfortable although that may be because it is the depth of a single bed. It was made to our spec by Mermaid Fabrics and has rubber feet so no marks. I can't give up to date prices but you could try Fiskos in Girne as he has a catalogue and can give you prices. Friends had beds made last year very cheaply.

Try furniture shop in Chatalkoy opposite to Tempo "third in raw of shops to the left of Hur Deniz", they sell all sorts of furniture and also they can arrange to make any furniture to your design & specification".
Not long ago, I saw few wrought iron furniture on display outside & inside the shop. Prices varied according to the item size & quality finish "from 300tl - 0ver 3000tl". Sorry I haven't got the phone number, but then, why don't you drive to the place and check it out..
Here is another lead:
I have just found a leaflet among my papers advertising wrought Iron furniture. The name is "Ibo, and tel no: 05338716589". I've never used him, and don't know how good or cheep his workmanship is???. Try him and perhaps you let me know if he is worthwhile or not.
The photos published on the leaflet indicating quality work, but then, until you talk to guy and negotiate the price.
I also, can say, try "mermaid" in Chatalkoy, I think they sell wrought iron furniture. They are very good, I saw the furniture displayed in and out of the shop. Mermaid has a very good reputation though thy are pricy a bit...
On your way to Lefkosa stop by "Asok" they are furniture shop. try them
If you couldn't find what you need, try looking in the "Buzz book", they list all sorts of trades, ironmongers, etc., etc.,
Best of luck with your hunt

From my experience of wrought iron furniture in other peoples houses, as follows. OK outside provided you spend a lot of money on cushions both seats and backs. Inside, absolutely awful. You can't really relax and unless you have a back problem and have to sit with correct posture I didn't like it at all.
