When our service disappeared yet again yesterday and the online chat service was off - I e.mailed NTV expressing disgust at their continuing lack of service. Had a reply this morning stating that this was nothing to do with NTV but caused by Turk Telecom services to the TRNC. I have replied saying, I totally disagree as they must have a business contract with Turk Telecom and it is up to NTV to ensure that Turk Telecom provide the service they are contracted for. Yet another very poor excuse for not providing what we are paying for.

NTV do not have a business contract with Turk Telecom, just as the BBC do not have one with Turk Telecom yet they provide website and TV services over the internet and just as youtube, google, facebook and a thousand other services that are provided over the internet do not have direct business relationships with Turk Telecom.
Multimax, like all other internet service providers in North Cyprus, do have a business contract with Turk Telecom and we do and have reported these issues to them in the expectation that they will be resolved. We would like as an internet service provider based in North Cyprus to be able to have a choice of companies that we could buy such services from but given the situation here in North Cyprus Turk Telecom remains the only such provider available currently.

Sorry but to say that would be like saying BBC, Hotmail, Google etc would have a contract, that is not how the internet works.
