Trouble with the Pipeline?

Went up past the reservoir today, there was some sort of blockade going on both at the dam and at the landing area/pumping station in Karisyaka. Heavy machinery and banners blocking access to the sites.
Anyone know what is going on?

We saw that too and have no idea, went too far past the banner to translate. Some sort of meeting? Or protest?

The banner at the dam translates to :-
"the contractor of this site has committed plagiarism." something may be lost in translation

Wonder whether this could be the unions flexing their muscles.
God help us all if this is how the water will be (mis)managed!
Can any of us afford the electricity anyway to move the water?
Glad I bought my own 10 tonne tank and get it tankered in. Don't want any part of it. At least I won't get any bills which like Alsancak at the moment have so many additions on it which have no relation to water delivery. (See post titled Water Bill).
You would be absolutely right to think that I am a little disillusioned at the moment.
Been here 10 years and still no sign of my Kocan so feel a little like I have no choices at the moment.
