Arrived from UK to find no hot water after following thread last week about immersion heaters phoned Gates on Monday am and up and running Tuesday am. Lovely HOT water

Very hot water with the longer immersion heater. Had mine fitted today in time for a shower on my birthday - April 28th

johnerbus we haven't fitted any in immersion heaters in esentepee so it is nothing to do with us the 2 we fitted yesterday and the ones fitted other times throughout the last 6 years so who fitted yours it wasn,t us
Next time come to us and you wont have any problems

There is a misunderstanding here as I was poking fun at myself. The immersion heater I bought from you is excellent. It's been fitted and the water heats extremely fast and is very hot. By quoting my birthday - 28th April - I was announcing the date of my annual shower, so no offence to yourself and the excellent product was intended.
A comedian's catch phrase used to be "It's the way I tell em" and I obviously didn't tell it correctly.

Apologies also to any reader who interpreted my joke as a slagging off of a very good product.

P.S. I showered today, well before my birthday so my next shower is scheduled for 14/01/16
