Where in the TRNC do you live, which municipality do you come under? Your initial question is, actually, pointless as nobody can help other than research all the major municipalities offices, which you could also do.

You can renew licences in Girne at the tax office behind the hospital ..

I live in Alsancak, as far as I am aware most in the Kyrenia/Girne region have to go to the Tax office in Girne. Walking it is behind the Kymakam and Tapu offices near the Municipal Hospital in Girne (Dr Akcicek?). I have lived here 10 years and seen this question asked many times and from the replies given this answer would seem to suit most.
Some are wise and some otherwise.....

Thank you very much for that advice, very helpful Harita & Jonnie....as for Tomsteel your comments are most unhelpful and rude. Please think before you put forward such utterances again. I only asked a civil question which is what this forum is meant to be all about and comments like yours are unecessary.

This topic is now close.

Well, we all have opinions. Had you specified an area, I could/would have helped - however, you chose not to and expected us to be clairvoyants. Unhelpful, maybe. Rude - most certainly not. Maybe your next request for forum help will provide sufficient information for you to receive (in your view) a more necessary response. Subject closed from my perspective.

Us? So you speak for the whole forum...needless to say renewing the license was as easy as pie and thanks again to the other two members who did not need the use of a crystle ball to help me out. If I could make one polite request please never ever make a comment on any post I may make.

You tasked the forum (us). Consider it my duty so to do.

I agree with PapaSquidge. In my opinion, Msg 2 was pointless and unhelpful. It was fine until the second sentence was added. The other 2 posters however, have demonstrated how to respond in a positive manner and this, I think, is what the Forum is for.
