Hello All,

Does anyone know where I might be able to find a roll of self-adhesive anti-slip strips to apply to the front edge of travertine stair treads?

I've been thinking of looking for these for the last two years, but made my mind up to find them now, after falling all the way down one of our outside stairs this morning!

Have tried Stormax, and a couple of Yapis around Karaolangolu today, but no joy so far.

Just out of a hot bath, and still smarting from the application of Transvasin to the affected areas!

Internal application of hot wine to follow!

If you enter "non slip treatment" in the search facility above, you will find a company that advertised a product that may be suitable

I've checked the previous threads, using the "search" function, but would prefer to find the tape strips, having hilarious memories of the young London lad who tried to sell me an anti-slip application for our terraces last Spring, which was clearly not fit-for-purpose.

I really felt sorry for him, so much so that I gave him a lift back along the bypass to his apartment; a few hours later, having finally managed to scrape all the pieces of blue mop fabric out of the "test" area, with a knife edge, under the instruction of The Boss, I didn't feel so sorry for him.
