What are the latest rates the different banks are giving now.
TEB bank giving 9% on the monthly account.

just got 9.75% on leaving your money in for 12 month but can take interest monthly if you want. That was at Iktisatbank.

Always impossible to say what rates are on offer as it is very much dependent on how much you have on deposit. I was offered 13% by one of the dodgier banks quite recently but prefer to take a bit less from a Turkish bank with a sound financial background.

Which bank did you eventually opt for Agoband?

Same as Agobard, I was offered what I consider to be an unrealistic interest from one of the new banks so opted for less interest on another one year bond with a Turkish bank. Just wish they would get their English translations into gear though!! More money you put in the more generous the interest. Suggest you shop around.

RAZR63: I use TEB. Decent interest rates, secure bank financially and good customer service from Seran their foreign customer representative in Girne branch.

Does anyone have TEB phone number? Have tried 815 8510 unsuccessfully.

0392-8158510 is the number but if, when you get through, you dial 120 you will get through to Seran, the foreign customer representative.
