does anybody know where they sell e juice for an e cigarette on this side of the island would appreciate any help

I brought out a 12 week supply to last me but do not want that to dictate when I next go back so will use this if I get a bit low.

I stopped with cigarettes one year ago, started with e-cigs on 18mg liquid, went 6 months on that and then dropped to 11mg for another 6 months, I am now on 6mgs for another 6 months, then I will drop to 3mg -some small time later I will get the nicotine free one.

You do not expect a miracle but this is close for me. I had tried absolutely everything including the two new wonder drugs which whilst they will stop you would have killed me if I had not told the dotor how they made me feel.

I have never given up on giving up - well not for the past 53 years anyway, lol. Yeah, its dead easy if you put your mind to it and succeed but if you put your mind to it and fail then easy is not a word you keep in your mind. It is a drug and a mind drug at that, the smallest thing will make you start again. For me its simple - every time I try to give it up either someone close to me dies or a friend buys me tobacco as a present for something! But now I am running out of people close to me, maybe it will work, who knows. I will try the e fags as they have worked for my daughter but it is just finding them here that is the trick.

Waddo, don't make the same mistake I made. I was told that it was best to start with 18mg strength. It was some 2 months later that I realised that a cigarette only had 10 or 11mg of nicotine. That is where my journey should have started.

I will be going back to the UK around Easter for a couple of weeks, if you find that you need supplies I will bring them for you. We have a shop in our little market town which sells supplies at a very sensible cost at the moment. (Well until our greedy government puts an extra tax on them to make up the revenue they are losing on cigarette sales)

Thank You sue, I will keep trying to find them here but if it fails I would ask you to bring some back for me please. As I am a "roll-your-own" smoker and only about 10 to 15 a day of them anyway I think I would start on the 6mg because anything stronger would probably make me dizzy - lol. My daughter has been on these things for over a year now and is down to the 3mg and just about to swop out for the nicotine free, worked for her and she was a 40 a day girl last year!!! Got to be worth a shot.

My late hubby Rod used to say "It's easy to give up, I've done it loads of times" When he did eventually quit permanently, he was on 60 a day!! Got himself a large empty coffee jar. Every night, put in the equivalent money, when it was full, there was £96. Going back at least 30 years. Never looked back, when he saw what a waste of money!!!

Owl Lady, won't really work for me - I smoke rollies so I buy a 50g pack of tobacco every ten days at 14TL each, thats about 45TL a month and it would take me a long, long time to fill a large coffee jar - might not make it that far, lol. Have tried that trick myself though many years ago when I smoked normal cigs and that's why I stick to rollies now!

Waddo, I've not seen the ecigs on sale in Omruns. I always buy mine from Ledra St as they're cheaper down South. Bought two there in the South about a year ago and still using them. Then I buy the liquid from Omrum's - 20TL for a 12 mg bottle

As for nicotine itself it's the most addictive of all recreational drugs. More addictive than heroin.

I would change to a dummy as I need something to suck on (no lewd comments please) but ecigs are more socially acceptable
