Does anyone know west of Kyrenia where you can moor, store or launch a boat via a slipway.

The only place we are aware of at the moment is Sunset. Just wondering if there are any alternatives.

Many thanks.

Right out west, just before Kayalar, is Secret Beach. You could drive down and ask the fisherman there. There is a sign which translates to fishing village, it's just after Horsehoe Bay

There is a slipway at Camelot Beach Alsancak. Have seen boats being launched from there.

GAU run the Beach 'Franchise' at Camelot, and although they cannot restrict Public Access to the Beach / Sea, I am uncertain what their attitude would be regarding use of 'their' slipway, or storage of boats at or near the beach. I don't know who you would contact at GAU to find out either, I'm afraid...

- But someone might!

Further a long from Sunset on the other side of the Lapta strip is the small fishing harbour. Turn right down a track before the 'household goods' shop. It's about 100TL a year to keep a boat there. There's also a small cabin/office -not sure on the opening times.
