Shot blasting

cast iron garden furniture is in urgent need of renovation. Use of wire brush may be good enough to clean it up but looks a time consuming job. Shot blasting would be ideal.
Anybody heard of it being used any where?

If you paint it with Hammerite you will not need to remove all the rust - just the loose flaky stuff. Hammerite chemically reacts with the rust to neutralise it, But make sure it is all covered - if any rust is left exposed it will spread.

Yes well aware of the qualities of Hammerite but this is a little more than a little rust and being a table top needs to be finished to a good standard.
