New Vet hospital at the NEU

Yesterday I was fortunate enough (along with others) to be given a guided tour of the above. They are mind blowing and would give most hospitals (human) regardless of country, a real run for their money. There are examination rooms, operating rooms with the most advanced facilities for keyhole surgery, recovery rooms, X-ray rooms and loads more. Obviously the NEU is a teaching hospital but the experts are there for dogs, cats, birds, horses, cows, sheep and other farm animals. The laboratory facilities are amazing as well and we were allowed to see (through a glass window) the large rescued turtle lying on its back being given a drip.

The hospital is next door but one building to the entrance of the main hospital. All signs etc are in Turkish and English. Well worth a visit if you are passing in order to pick up brochures and price lists etc from Reception.

Mods, could you leave this on General for a little while and then move to Pets should you so wish. Thanks.

Sounds fantastic, Perhaps the doctors there should be working on humans, instead of some that are!!!
Sorry tin hat at the ready!
