Hi good people, I have my son out with his family, his wife and Daughters, aged 6 and 8.
Would love some good suggestion of places to eat as when I stay I am never aware of "child Friendly" places to eat??
We are all living near Kyrenia, Zeytinlik.
Hope you can help with suggestions.

Silver Rocks in Lapta is very wecoming to children and has a pool with a shallow end for kids. Get there early though as the beds book fast. Great food too.

Green Heights Park is also great. Just past the Pork shop in Alsancak on the left going towards Yeseltepe, has a large pool as well as botanical gardens. (I don't approve of the caged birds there but kids do like to see them)

Eastside, in Catalkoy is Sultans Restaurant, it has a full playground with tables and a bar for the adults. Really safe with a fenced off area. It is just past the Bo Thai and nice to tire them out on the way back from the beach at Alagadi........

Ezic Peanuts restaurant in Kyrenia. If you get a table by the sea the kids love watching the tiddlers in the sea. Great menu and very child friendly.

Even the Delta cafe at the 'New harbour' can provide an hour's interest, watching the fishes, & feeding them with crumbs while eating your 'daily special' - it does depend on whether they are 'picky eaters' or are prepared to try something new, of course.

Watching the lorries loading and unloading the Roll-on Roll-off ferries, and discussing where they are going to etc can be interesting, and also trying to 'decipher' the writing on the sides of the shops with the aid of a phrase book / dictionary...

I have to say that kids often find things interesting that we don't, and vice versa

We have always found the Tempo restaurant behind the Tempo supermarket at Karaoglanoglu to be excellent with children, clean modern premises, waiters speak good english and a varied pictorial menu and good food!
